Training Overview


Course details

This first aid course for personal trainers and fitness professionals is designed to provide the learner with the knowledge and skills to be able to respond to first aid situations and administer first aid in the workplace.

This includes understanding the responsibilities of a first aider and being able to provide first aid to a casualty. It also covers how to provide first aid to someone who is choking, bleeding, in shock or a casualty with minor injuries.

Course features

Our Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work Qualification has 1 Unit consisting of theory and practical.

You will attend for one full workshop day at one of our UK Venues to complete both theory and practical elements of the Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work Qualification.

Your qualification will then be valid for 3 years before you must renew again – this is the standard term applied across the UK.

Prerequisites - what's required to participate?

There are no specific entry requirements. There is an element of communication (discussing, presenting, reading and writing) involved and learners should have basic skills in communication pitched at level 2.
