Keep your knowledge current by updating your existing qualification by completing this externally endorsed and certificated training programme for operators who already hold a Level 3 certification.   • Understand how to recognise and implement emergency procedures
  • Understand the different types of systems used in the disinfection of pool water
  • Know the different types of infections associated with poor pool water quality and poor hygiene
  • Understand the importance of encouraging the efficient use of energy

Course features

Learners will participate in taught sessions, engage in question and answer sessions, complete exercises, problem solving, participate in a pool water testing workshop etc. and will complete a workbook which will be assessed.

Prerequisites - what's required to participate?

Applicants must have completed a level 3 Pool Plant Operator Training Programme, irrespective of who accredited it in the first place, within the last 3 years. (If your certificate has recently expired, please call Johnson Training Ltd so they can discuss your options).

Career Development

This will enable to learner to continue working in a pool plant environment whilst fully complying with the training recommendations of HSG179 and the CIMSPA occupational standards for pool plant operators.
