The STA Level 2 Award in Teaching Swimming produces swimming teachers that can teach the essential swimming skills, water safety and all four key strokes to participants. They are able to plan, deliver, assess and evaluate lessons for adult and child participants. During the course learners will undertake practical swimming teaching to build their skills as well as develop their knowledge on teaching methodology, lesson management and the progressive practices to be able to plan, teach and assess the essential swimming skills and strokes to all participants.

Be 16 years of age.
